ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (FIG. 1)
1. Disconnect power at main electrical panel before installation.
2. Thread the mounting screws into the same side of the
mounting strap as the GREEN ground screw.
3. Guide fixture wires through hole in center of mounting strap.
4. Follow wiring instructions carefully (listed below).
5. Attach mounting strap to outlet box using box screws.
provided with outlet box.
6. Mount fixture by aligning mounting holes in base with
mounting screws, positioning the mounting screw heads
through the large openings of the keyhole shaped slots.
Rotate the fixture to seat the mounting screws, tighten
mounting screws securely.
7. Install lamp(s) into socket(s).
8. Thread hexnut onto pipe nipple, leaving suffcient threads
exposed. Thread pipe nipple into coupling, and secure by
tightening hexnut to coupling.
9. Position glass shade on the fixture, allowing pipe nipple to
pass through center hole in glass shade. Secure with hexnut
to coupling.
10. Pat the cross decoration onto the bottom of glass and then
secure with metal cap and finial.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (FIG .2)
11. At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2,
making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your
outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect
the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s
ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green
screw provided. After wires are connected, tuck them carefully
inside the Junction Box.
12. After wires are connected, tuck them carefully into the ceiling
junction box.
13. Install the bulbs in accordance with the fixture’s specifications.
(DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box
and test the fixture.
