brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (& yellow).
USE
First check that the voltage marked on the product is the same as your supply voltage.
Select a suitable position close to an electric socket, on a dry and even surface.
Make sure the controls are in the OFF position (MIN facing upwards). Plug in.
The invisible protective coating must be removed before you can use the appliance. To do this, set
the controls to the maximum setting and leave switched on for approximately 10 minutes. Smoke will
develop, make sure that the room is ventilated. Switch off the cooking plates and allow to cool down
completely. The cooking plates are now ready for use.
Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the cooking plates. The
saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the cooking plates.
Select the temperature. The cooking plates have a range of temperatures.
Due to the cooking plates’ construction, residual heat will remain after switching off. This may be
used to keep food warm for a short period.
After use, turn temperature dial to "MIN" and unplug the appliance from electrical outlet.
CLEANING
Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.
Wipe with a moistened cloth.
Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish.
