Operation Manual

Freezing the cooling containers (Pic.02) :
The freezer temperature should be about -18°c.
The most important step in making ice-cream is to make sure that the cooling containers are properly frozen.
There is liquid between the container walls, shake the container to check the ideal freezing condition, you
should not hear any liquid moving inside the walls.
For best results, the cooling container should be placed upright in the back of your freezer, where the
temperature is coldest.
The length of time necessary to freeze the cooling container (at least 8 hours), will depend upon the
temperature of the freezer. Leave the cooling container in the freezer overnight.
Keep the cooling container in the freezer, this allows you to make your favourite ice-cream whenever you want.
Assembling the appliance (Pic.03) :
Hold the motor unit up side down and insert the paddle shaft into the hole.
Push the transparent lid into the leg of motor unit.
Insert the mixing whisk on the paddle shaft and turn back.
Take out the freezer container from the icebox.
Place the motor unit and the paddle on top of the freezer bowl.
Slide in the locking teeth make sure it is securely locked.
Turn the ON/OFF switch to the position “I”.
Immediately pour the recipe through the feeder holes into the cooling container.
Leave the machine ON for approximately 20-40 minutes. Maximum operation time is 1 hour.
Keep in mind that fresh home-made ice-cream will not be the same consistency as that of hard, store-bought ice-
cream. The consistency will be more soft and creamy. For hard ice-cream; use a rubber spatula or wooden spoon
and remove the ice cream from the cooling container into a sealed container. Place this container back into the
freezer for several hours, or until ice-cream becomes hard. You may leave the ice-cream in the cooling container, to
harden in the freezer for a short period of time (no more than 30 minutes). Then it will be perfect to serve.
How to clean :
The cooling container, paddle and lid can be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent.
Do not put any parts in the dishwasher. The motor drive can be cleaned by using damp cloth.
Never immerse the motor unit in water.
Make sure all parts are dried thoroughly.
Never place the cooling container in freezer if they are still wet.
Never store the mixing whisk and/or drive shaft in the freezer.
Recipes
1. Custard based vanilla ice cream
Ingredients : 3 egg yolks – 50 à 60 gr caster sugar – 200 ml semi skimmed milk – 100 ml double cream– few
drops vanilla essence.
Place the egg yolks and sugar in a glass bowl and mix it together. In a saucepan slowly bring the milk to boiling
point, then pour onto the egg mixture together. Return the mixture to the pan and stir constantly until the mixture
thickens and forms a film over the back of the spoon. Do not let it boil or the mixture will separate. Remove from
the heat and leave it until it turns cold again. Stir in the cream and vanilla essence. Pour the mixture into the
freezer bowl with the paddle running. Allow to freeze until the desired consistency is achieved?
