GENERAL INFORMATION

AVOID PLACING THE SCALE IN LOCATIONS

THAT MAY HURT ACCURACY:

• Temperature extremes – Do not place in direct

sunlight or near air heat/cooling vents.

• Mounting surface must be firm and level – Do

not place on uneven or wobbly surfaces or near

vibrating machinery.

• Unstable power sources – Keep away from big

electricity-using machines, like welding equipment

or large motors.

• Keep scale dry – Do not place in high humidity,

damp or wet locations.

• Keep away from air movers, like fans or open doors

and windows.

• Keep scale clean and dry.

• Do not stack items on the scale when not in use.

CAUTION! Scale is not waterproof. Avoid

direct contact with water, high humidity and

condensation. Do not spray or immerse scale

in water. Data may become unstable or scale

may malfunction. Turn power off and allow

scale to dry before reuse.

INSTALLATION Stainless steel platform is packed separately. 1. 5. Power switch is located on the bottom right side of the scale. Remove set screw on bottom of scale. Level Feet 2. Level the scale. As more weight is added, the display shows the number of pieces (pcs). % to display the unit weight (g/pcs), 6. Press the % key total weight (k g) or the count (pcs). 7. OPERATION CONTINUED MANUAL ACCUMULATION AUTOMATIC ACCUMULATION When the scale is set for manual accumulation: When scale is set for automatic accumulation: 1. Acc Press the ACC key to store the displayed weight in the memory when the weight is stable. 2. Display shows ACC 1 and then the total stored in memory for two seconds before returning to normal. 3. Remove the weight and allow the scale to return to zero, then add a second weight. 4. Press ACC Acc 1. Add a weight to the scale.

CALIBRATION The scale is calibrated before leaving the manufacturer’s facility. Vibrations in shipping may cause the scale to fall out of calibration. Uline recommends re-verifying calibration in the field before first use. You must use a precision calibration weight to properly calibrate the scale. The calibration weight must be at least 1/3 of the scale’s capacity and cannot exceed the scale’s capacity. NOTE: Calibration can be done in English system weight (lb.) or Metric system weight (kg).

TROUBLESHOOTING OPERATING ISSUE Display is blank, scale shuts off or will not turn on. CAUSES Main power is turned off. Power supply not plugged in. Power supply faulty. Internal battery not charged. Display turned off. Display blank after turn-on test; error message display is locked. RECOMMENDATIONS Check that power is going to the scale. Verify that switch is turned on. Verify the voltage going to the scale matches the power supply labels on the power module or scale.

TROUBLESHOOTING CONTINUED OPERATING ISSUE CAUSES Not linear. RECOMMENDATIONS Overload stops hitting too soon. Load cell or mechanics damaged. Set linearity. A/D damaged. Off center loading error. INSTALACIÓN La plataforma de acero inoxidable está empacada por separado. 1. Retire tornillo de fijación de la parte inferior de báscula. 2. Nivele la báscula. CALIBRACIÓN La báscula se calibra antes de dejar las instalaciones del fabricante. Las vibraciones durante el envío pueden causar que la báscula deje de estar calibrada. Uline recomienda volver a verificar la calibración al momento antes del primer uso. Debe de utilizar una pesa de calibración para calibrar la báscula correctamente. La pesa de calibración debe de estar al menos a 1/3 de la capacidad de la báscula y no deberá superar la capacidad de la báscula.

INSTALLATION La plateforme en acier inoxydable est emballée séparément. 1. 5. L'interrupteur d'alimentation se trouve du côté inférieur droit de la balance. Retirez la vis de réglage au bas de la balance. Pieds de nivellement 2. Nivelez la balance. Ajuster les quatre pieds et bulle de référence située en haut de la balance pour procéder au nivellement au niveau de référence. 3. FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) ACCUMULATION AUTOMATIQUE ACCUMULATION MANUELLE Lorsque la balance est réglée pour l'accumulation manuelle : Acc 1. Appuyez sur la touche ACC pour enregistrer le poids affiché dans la mémoire une fois le poids stable. 2. L'affichage indique ACC 1, puis le total enregistré en mémoire pendant deux secondes avant de revenir à la normale. 3. Retirez le poids et laissez la balance revenir à zéro, puis ajoutez un second poids. 4. Appuyez sur ACC nouveau total.

ÉTALONNAGE La balance est étalonnée chez le fabricant avant d'être expédiée. Les vibrations lors de l'expédition peuvent entraîner la déprogrammation de l'étalonnage. Uline recommande de vérifier l'étalonnage avant la première utilisation. Vous devez utiliser un poids d'étalonnage de précision pour étalonner correctement la balance. Le poids d'étalonnage doit être d'au moins 1/3 de la capacité de la balance et ne peut pas être supérieur à la capacité maximale de celle-ci.

DÉPANNAGE PROBLÈME DE FONCTIONNEMENT CAUSES L'affichage est vide, la balance s'éteint ou ne s'allume pas L'alimentation électrique principale est coupée. L'alimentation électrique n'est pas branchée. L'alimentation électrique est défectueuse. La batterie interne n'est pas chargée. L'affichage est éteint. RECOMMANDATIONS Vérifiez que la balance est alimentée en électricité. Vérifiez que l'interrupteur est en position de marche.

DÉPANNAGE (SUITE) PROBLÈME DE FONCTIONNEMENT Fonctionnement non linéaire. CAUSES RECOMMANDATIONS Les butées de surchargent entre en contact trop tôt. Le système mécanique ou la cellule de charge est endommagé(e). Le système A/D est endommagé. Erreur charge décentrée. Réglez le système mécanique. Les butées de surcharge sont incorrectes. Recherchez la présence d'une obstruction sous le plateau et vérifiez son installation. Réglez la linéarité.
