Eco Pool Drain “Fountain” Assembly Instructions \ Product Safety \Regulatory Compliance
Congratulations, you are on to way to disposing your excess pool water in an environmentally
responsible manner!
Assembly:
1) Unwind your waste water hose.
2) Slide each hose clamp onto the hose and stop once you are 3” to 4” from each end.
3) Hand stretch or use liquid dish detergent to lubricate the openings on each end of the hose for ease of connection.
4) Attach/slide the waste water hose to the waste water outlet onto your pool filter/pump & then slide the clamp
onto the connection and tighten firmly.
5) Attach/slide the other end of the waste water hose onto your Eco Pool Drain “Fountain” & then slide the clamp
onto the neck of the fountain and tighten firmly.
6) Place your Eco Pool Drain fountain on the ground with the top side facing up.
Hose Requirements: The Eco Pool Drain “Fountain” is designed to operate under pressure. Our standard kit includes a
nylon reinforced pvc hose rated at 4 bar working (60 PSI) and 12 bar burst (175 PSI). Inferior hoses may burst. If you did not
purchase our kit; be sure to only use a waste water hose that meets the above described specifications.
Usage: Do not oversaturate the same location. Move your Eco Pool Drain “Fountain” to a different location with each use.
Note: An increase in the fountain’s water height is an indicator of blocked water outlet openings. Debris can be easily
cleared from clogged openings with a tooth pick or similar object. Do not clean the outlets during operation.
Regulatory Compliance: The Eco Pool Drain “fountain” is designed to comply with most State & Federal pool waste water
disposal regulations. It may or may not do so in your area. Check with your local governmental agency.
Keep your pool water properly balanced at all times. Doing so is good for your swimmers and will extend the life of your
pool.

PRODUCT SAFETY WARNING & PROPER USE: Use only with sand or cartridge swimming pool filtration
systems. Avoid any contact with waste water and mist. Stand clear of hose & fountain when in use. Position top
side facing sky. Do not operate above 25 PSI. Use ONLY with properly balanced pool water! Change location with
each use. Do not over saturate the area. Poorly balanced pool water may damage your lawn. Do not allow anyone
or pets to play around or near the area while the Eco Pool Drain “fountain” is in use. Potential trip hazard. Put
away when not in use. Do not use where water may come in contact with an electrical source. This product is a
waste water irrigation device. This product is not a toy.
