Pairing
Before transmission between your Bluetooth
®
device and the speaker is possible,
both devices must be coupled. This process is called “pairing”.
Turn on the Bluetooth
®
device which you want to couple with your speaker, and
activate the pairing mode (for more information, see the instruction manual of the
corresponding device). The device will search for Bluetooth
®
devices within range.
Turn on the loudspeaker and press the button PAIR for three seconds until a beep
sounds and the LED on the device’s rear panel flashes quickly.
When the loudspeaker is found, your Bluetooth
®
device will display the name
“CT-BT1“.
On your Bluetooth
®
device select “CT-BT1“. Perhaps you may need to enter the
password “0000” on your Bluetooth
®
device.
When pairing is successful, the LED on the rear panel of your device will be continu-
ously blinking.
Only one Bluetooth
®
device at a time can be coupled to the loudspeaker. If
there is already an active Bluetooth
®
coupling, then this connection must be
interrupted first.
The connection is broken, when the speaker or the Bluetooth
®
device with
the coupling active is switched off or moved out of range. When the device
is turned back on or when the Bluetooth
®
device comes back into the range
of the speaker, the connection will be automatically reestablished.
To enable this automatic reconnection, this function may need to be acti-
vated on the Bluetooth
®
device (please read up your Bluetooth
®
device’s
instructions regarding this point).
Audio streaming
Audio streaming is the transmission of audio data (music) via Bluetooth
®
to the speaker.
If you own an A2DP-capable Bluetooth
®
device, you can connect it with the speaker fol-
lowing the pairing procedure as described above and establish the audio transmission.
Make sure that both devices are connected via pairing.
Start playback/audio transmission on your Bluetooth
®
device (see the correspond-
ing operating manual).
Now audio transmission is activated.
Now you can easily control the playback via the controls of your Bluetooth
®
device.
Wired audio playback
If your audio device does not feature Bluetooth
®
audio transmission, you may use the
included audio jack to connect to the loudspeaker.
Connect the connector LINE IN to the audio output of your device’s rear panel
(headphone output) of the audio device.
Start playback on your audio device.
Now you can easily control the playback via the controls of your audio device.
Operate as power station
The USB output of the loudspeaker can supply other devices such as mobile phones,
MP3 players, etc. with power.
The USB output can be loaded with max. 2,5 A. Do not connect devices with
a higher current consumption.
Connect the device you would like to charge to the USB connector on the rear panel
of the device.
Switch on the loudspeaker with the toggle ON/OFF switch (set switch to ON position).
You can load your mobile device onto the enclosed stand while charging.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The BT loudspeaker is maintenance-free.
Only clean it with a slightly moistened cloth. Never use cleaning agents as these can
damage the surface of the casing.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed
of in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device at the end of its service life according to the
current statutory requirements.
