WARNING
- Risk of re or electric shock. LED Retrot Kit installation requires knowledge of luminaires electrical
systems. If not qualied, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualied electrician.
- Risk of re or electric shock. Install this kit only in the luminaires that have the construction features and
dimensions shown in the photographs and/or drawings where the input rating of the retrot kit does not
exceed the input rating of the luminaire.
- To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
- Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.
- This retrot kit is accepted as a component of a luminaire where the suitability of the combination shall be
determined by authorities having jurisdiction.
If using an LED housing with IDEAL connector, mate
the quick connectors.

Carefully route wires into housing and push the
downlight upward making sure it is ush to the
ceiling surface.

If using an incadescent housing, screw the edison
base socket string into the socket. Mate the
downlight connector into the Edison (or GU24) base
connector.
Make sure all power is turned o before beginning installation
Squeeze torsion springs together and install into
torsion spring brackets inside recessed housing.

Carefully unpack the downlight from its packaging. Inspect product for defects due to shipping.

Installing the DLR
If using optional colored trim, align trim onto downlight and secure by bending over tabs.

ools Needed
The DLR56 Recessed LED Downlight is designed to fit
into a 5” or 6” housing with torsion spring receiving
brackets. No tools are necessary for installation.
Selectable CCT
The DLR56 Selectable Recessed LED Downlight
is equipped with a selectable switch to choose the CCT
of your choice. Before installation, see the switch on
top of the trim and select from 3000K, 4000K or 5000K.
