NOTE to users with an older
versions of RapidComm on their
systems: You must uninstall the
older version before installing the
most recent version (contained on
the Connections CD-ROM that came
with your new modem). Otherwise,
system conflicts may hamper
RapidComm’s ability to work
properly.
Diagnosis:
If you are using an external modem, the
modem might not be turned on.
Possible Solution:
Make sure the modem is turned on. The
power switch is on top of external modems.
The CS light on the front panel should be lit.
(An internal modem should turn on
automatically when the computer is turned
on.)
