Starting the vehicle
■ Move the shift lever to P or N. The
propulsion system will not start in
any other position.
■ Move the steering wheel slightly to
release the steering wheel lock.
■ The radio remote control must be in
the vehicle. Press the brake pedal
and push m.
Please regard that the operating
condition of the vehicle is meant
everytime the term "ignition on/off" is
used.

Electric vehicle operation
modes
The vehicle has two operation
modes: Electric and extended range.
In both modes, the vehicle is
propelled by its electric drive unit.
