consumer-facing, multimedia

devices, the MX850 securely
handles transactions in seconds,
while also delivering a dazzling
array of brand reinforcement,
cross-promotional messages,
and even consumer disclosures
directly to consumers. The
65,536-color display supports
full-motion video and high-
resolution graphic animation, in
addition to helpful prompts and
transaction information.
Consumers can enter their PINs
or approve transactions using
the convenient tactile keypad,
recessed for privacy. Optional
signature capture capability
paired with VeriFone’s PAYware
software allows retailers
to streamline transactions,
minimize paper storage, and
quickly retrieve electronic
receipts as needed.

capacitive technology that resists
scratches and accepts both

mechanical stylus, to the unit’s

modules, expansion slots, and
a USB port further future-proof
the MX850 and allow the addition
of contactless payment or other
capabilities as new technologies
emerge. A smart card reader is
factory optional.
The MX850 is global and secure.
It is PCI PED approved and has
EMV Level 1 and Level 2 Type
Approvals as well as Interac,
