GAS BURNERS (Semi-rapid and triple ring)
Gasflow to theburnersisadjusted by turningtheknobs (illustrated infig.2.1)which
controlthevalves.
Turningtheknobsothatthesymbolsprintedonitselfpointtothesymbolprintedonthe
controlpanelachievesthefollowingfunctions:
Themaximumaperturepositionpermitsrapidboilingofliquids,whereastheminimum
aperture position allows simmer warming of food or maintaining boiling conditions of
liquids.
Toreducethegasflowtominimum,rotatetheknobfurtheranti-clockwisetopointthe
indicatortowardsthe position.
Otherintermediateoperatingadjustmentscanbeachievedbypositioningtheindicator
between the maximum and minimum aperture positions, and never between the
maximumapertureand positions.
N.B. When the range is not being used, set the gas knobs to their
positions and also close the gas shut-off valve placed on the main gas
supply line.
