WeappreciateyourpurchaseofaVersaTubeBuildingSystemssteelstructurethroughoneofourMassMerchant
partners.PleasereviewthefollowingandcallVersaTubeCustomerService(1‐800‐900‐7222)ifyouhavequestions.
Delivery:Garage&buildingpackagesandsomecarportorderswillshipandarriveintwo(2)separateshipments.Theframekitwill
deliverviaLTLcommoncarrierorflatbedtruck,andthe sheetmetalonaflatbedtruck.Thisprocessallowsthefactorydirectdeliveryof
thesheetmetalpackagetoreducehandlingissues.Mostorderswilldelivertothestorelocation whereyoumadeyourpurchase.Youare
solelyresponsibleforscheduling
store‐to‐homedelivery(ifneeded)andanyadditionalcostsrequired.
Someordersmaydelivertoaresidentialaddressoralternatelocation.Fortheseorders,adeliverableaddressorlocationmustbe
provided.Curbsidedeliveryisincludedandunloadingmeansarerequired,suchasaforklift,tractor,front‐endloader
orthemanpowerto
handunload.Unobstructedtractortraileraccessandturnaroundisrequired.VersaTubeisnotresponsibleforrestrictionsdueto
geographiclocation,localcovenants,neighborhoodassociationlaws,oranyotherrestrictionsthatwouldpreventshipmentdelivery.
Pleasenote:Wewilldoourbe sttocoordinatebothshipments toarrive
withinthesamedeliverywindow,ifnotthesameday,butcannot
guaranteearrivaltimesorsame‐daydelivery.Youwillreceiveatrackingnumberatthetimeofshipmentformonitoringthearrivaltimeof
yourdelivery.Ourfreightcarriersareinstructedtocallaheadtoscheduleadelivery
appointmentwithin24hours.Ifforsome reasonyour
shipmentisundeliverable,storagechargesandredeliveryfeesmayapply.Youwillberesponsibleforreschedulingdeliveryorre‐routing
deliverytoanotherlocation,aswellasalladditionalcostsorfees.Further,VersaTubeisnotresponsibleforanycostsincurredfor
forklift
rental,liftingequipment,ortimeoffworkresultingfromLTLfreightorflatbedtruckdeliverydelays.Additionalunload ingoptions–liftgate
forLTLdeliveries,boomliftforsheetmetal–aresubjecttolocalandregionalavailabilitiesandincludeadditionalchargesorfees.
Alternativestoavoidadditiona lunloading
feesincludestandardstoredelivery,pickingupatthenearestfreightterminaloratourfactory(if
feasible),orarrangingdeliverytoanotherlocalbusinesswithunloadingcapabilities.
UponDelivery:Ifyouseeorsuspectdamagetoyourshipment,youmustmark“Damaged”or“SubjecttoConcealedDamage”onthe
BillofLadingorDeliveryReceipt.Beforerejectingtheshipment,immediatelycontactVersaTubeCustomerServiceat1‐800‐900‐7222
forfurtherinstructions.If“Damaged”or“SubjecttoConcealedDamage”isnotnotedontheBillofLadingorDeliveryReceiptatthe
timeofdelivery,VersaTubeBuildingSystemswillnot
beresponsibleforfreightormaterialcostsassociatedwiththereplacementof
damagecomponent(s).
YouwillbeprovidedaVersaTubeCarePackagetoinventorycomponentpartsupondeliveryandPRIORTOINSTALLATION.Defectiveor
missingpieceswillbereplacedatnochargeasquicklyaspossibleviagroundshipment.Sheet
metalpanels&trimwithsmallscratchesand
dentsmaynotrequirereplacement,sotouch‐uppaintwillbeprovidedatnocharge.Overnightorexpressdeliveryofreplacement
componentsisavailable foranadditionalfee.Shippingdamagemustbereportedwithin14daysofdelivery.Missingpartsmustbe
reported
within30daysofdelivery.Ifnot,VersaTubewillnotberesponsibleforshippingormaterialcostsassociatedwiththe
replacementofthecomponent(s).Damageresultingfromimproperstoragebeyondthe30‐daydeadlinewillnotbecoveredunder
warranty.Inordertoprocessadamageorreplacementclaim,VersaTube
mayrequestsubmittalofrequireddocumentationand
supportingphotostakenfromdifferentangles.VersaTubeBuildingSystemsreservestherighttodeclineanyclaimifyouare unwillingto
complywithourrequestforessentialdocumentsandphotos.
Engineering:Itisyoursoleresponsibilitytodetermineifabuildingpermitisrequiredinyourcityand/orcounty,includinganyspecific
buildingcoderequirements,andensureinstallationandmaterialscomplywithrequiredcodes.Youarealsoresponsibleforobtaininglocal
permits,covenantsearches,right‐of‐wayorsetbackrestrictions,andclearanceforbuildinginstallationover/undercables,waterlines,
sewerlines,gaslines,oranyotherutilitylinesandtreecanopiesorroots.
NOTE:Iflocalloadrequirements areincreasedtoabovetheload
capacityofthepurchasedstructure,contactVersaTubetodeterminewhatmayberequiredtoachievethenewloadrating.
StampedengineeringdrawingsandcalculationscanbeorderedbycompletingandsubmittingaVersaTubeEngineeringPackageOrder
Form.Thepackage
includesthree(3)setswetstampedbyalicensedprofessionalengineer.Checkwithyourbuildingdepartmentforthe
approvedpapersizeforyourengineeringdrawingspriortosubmittingyourorder.Allowuptothree(3)weeksfordeliveryafterthe
engineeringpaymentisreceived.VersaTubeprovidesplanrevisionswithinreason
freeofcharge.Onsomeoccasions,additionalbillable
hoursmayapplywhendesignchangesand/orextensiverevisionsarerequiredtosatisfya buildinginspectorordepartment.
Foundationplansareincluded.IMPORTANT:YourfoundationmustmatchourcertifiedfoundationplansorVersaTubecannotguarantee
yourfoundationwillpassinspection.Intheextreme
rarecaseyourmunicipalityorlocalbuildingdepartmentrequires3rdpartyon‐sight
inspection(s)ofthefoundation,anchoringorbuilding,youwillberesponsibleforsourcingthoseserviceslocallyandanyrequiredcosts.
VersaTubeBuildingSystemsdoesnotprovideon‐sightinspection(s)ofanykind.
Installation:ThisstructureisaDo‐It‐Yourselfproductanddoesnotincludesitepreparation,foundationorconcretework,orinstallation.

