Handling and Care

with care.
•Keepchildrenawayfromthebattery.
•Thebatteryshouldbechargedbyadults.
•Chargethebatteryinawellventilatedarea.
•Keepthebatteryclean.Donotcleanwithpetrochemicals.Dustwithasoftbrushand
ensure that dust does not collect on the battery terminals, recharge socket or inside the
protection boot.
•Storethebatteryinacooldryplace.
•Donotallowthebatterytobecomewetorimmersedinwater.
•Donotdisposeofthebatterypackinwithdomesticwaste.Contactyourlocalwaste
management authority for instruction of safe disposal.
First Aid Following these instructions carefully if the batery breaks or cracks and some
of its contents are contacted or ingested contact the poisions information centre or call a
doctor immediately.
Recharging the battery
2 stroke and 4 stroke
•RemovetherechargingsocketfromtheprotectionbootFig.1
•Connectthechargerplugintotherechargingsocket.
•Plugthechargerintoa240V50Hzoutlet.Chargethebattery
foraminimumof10hoursto48hours.After48hoursthebattery
should be fully charged.
4 stroke (Only)
NOTE:Thebatterypackcanberemovedandrechargedaway
from the mower. Un-clip connector located at lower handles then
remove battery pack from upper handle. Follow the recharging
instructions above.

Store the mower in a well ventilated area, away from any naked flames found in gas hot
water heaters.
•Turnthefueltapoff.
•Disconnectthesparkplugleadandwedgeitbetweenthecylindersheadfins.
•Cleanthemowerthoroughlybeforestoring.
•Alwaysstorethebatterywiththechargingsocketinsidetheprotectionboot.
Note: After cleaning, run the engine briefly to dry off the excess moisture before
storing.
