Lightwell Grande Triple Chandelier

WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A
LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN
FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS
ANY DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
1. Carefully remove all parts from the carton.
2. Remove canopy (D) from mounting plate (A) by unscrewing collar ring (E) in counter-clockwise
direction.
3. Attach mounting plate (A) to ceiling J-box and secure with mounting screws (B).
4. Feed wire through the rod (G), (F), collar ring (E), canopy (D) and swivel ball (K).
5. Thread the bottom nipple of rod (G) into the joint (H).
6. Thread the bottom nipple of rod (F) into the top opening of rod (G).
7. Slide down collar ring (E) and canopy (D) on rod (F).
8. Hang the light fixture swivel ball (K) to mounting plate (A).
9. Attach the bare copper ground wire from the fixture to the junction box ground wire (usually green
or copper), fasten together with a plastic wire connector. Tightly wrap the wire connector
with electrical tape. Be sure no wire strands are exposed. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE
OUTLET BOX IN YOUR HOME BE PROPERLY GROUNDED.
10. Connect neutral wire (ribbed) from fixture to the neutral wire (usually white) from
the junction box . Fasten both wires together with a plastic wire connector and tightly wrap the
wire connector with electrical tape. Be sure no wire strands are exposed.
11. Connect the hot wires (smooth) from the fixture to the hot wire (usually black) from the
junction box, fasten both wires together with a plastic wire connector. Tightly wrap the wire
connector with electrical tape. DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS
OTHERWISE SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED.
12. Tuck the wire connectors neatly into the ceiling J-box.
13. Slip canopy (D) to mounting plate (A) and secure with collar ring (E).
14. Adjust the shade to desired angle.
15. Insert light bulbs (not included) into the sockets.
16. Place the diffuser (L) onto the top of ball shade (J).
17. Restore power and test fixture. Installation is complete.
*** Clean with a dry, soft cloth only. Use no harsh abrasives or chemical agents.
