1. Install the crossbar (B) with ceiling loop (D) to outlet box by using mounting screws(C) provided.
2. Thread the canopy (E) to ceiling loop. Unscrew the threaded collar (H) on the chain end link. Attach the chain end link
to the ceiling loop.
3. Using the dimensions of the fixture as a guide, shorten the chain (F) as needed using a pair of chain pliers.
4. Take into consideration that you will use the chain end link (G) to mount the chandelier once you have removed the
excess chain. Unscrew the threaded collar on the chain end link (G). Attach the chain end link (G) to the ceiling loop
(D). Attach the chain (F), now desired length, to the chain end link (G). Close the threaded collar to secure the chain.
5. Unscrew the threaded collar on the other chain end link (G). Attach the chain end link to the lower end of the chain.
6. Carefully lift and hang the fixture body by the chain end link. Close the threaded collar on the chain end link (G) to
secure. Unwrap the wiring from the top of the fixture body. Weave the power supply cord and the ground wire through
the chain (F).
7. When you reach the canopy and ceiling loop, measure the wires and cut. Be certain to leave enough to connect inside
the canopy. Strip the insulation back on the two power supply wires about 5/8”.
8. Twist the power supply and ground wires together and push through the center hole in the ceiling loop.
9. Loosen the canopy (E) and slip down the chain.
10. Identify the hot wire from the fixture by feeling the edges. The hot wire is smooth and has words printed on it.
The common wire is ribbed and has no words on it.
11. Attach the bare wire from the fixture to the bare wire from the building using the provided wire nuts (A).
If your house has no bare wire (ground) attach this wire to the green grounding screw inside the outlet box.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THIS FIXTURE BE GROUNDED.
12. Attach the common wire (ribbed, no words) from the fixture to the white wire from the building using the provided wire
nuts (A). Attach the hot wire (smooth, with words) from the fixture to the black wire from the building with the provided
wire nuts (A).
13. Secure each connection by tightening and then checking that no wires can be pulled out.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU NOT MIX THESE WIRES.
14. Neatly tuck the connections into the outlet box. Thread the canopy (E) to secure.
15. Install lamp bulbs (not included) into each socket.
16. Restore power and enjoy your new chandelier.
