Donotplacetheproductdirectlynexttodeviceswithstrongelectricalormagneticelds(e.g.transform-
ers, motors, cordless telephones, wireless devices and radios), as these can prevent the product from
working properly.
Do not use the temperature sensor (type K) to measure the temperature of live conductors or liquids
carrying a live voltage.
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm one. This may
cause condensation to form, which can destroy the product. Allow the product to reach room tempera-
ture before connecting it and putting it into use. This may take several hours.
The meter must not be used in areas at risk of explosion (Ex).

d) Batteries
Always check that the battery is inserted in the correct polarity.
To prevent battery leakage, the battery should be removed if you do not plan to use the product for an
extended period. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause acid burns if they come into contact with your
skin. Always use suitable protective gloves when handling damaged batteries.
Batteries must be kept out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is a risk
that children or pets may swallow them.
Batteriesmustnotbedismantled,short-circuitedorthrownintoames.Neverchargeconventional,non-
rechargeable batteries. This may cause an explosion!
