Unscrew the wheel nuts completely and remove the wheel carefully so as not to damage the threads of

the studs.

Installation

● Clean the nuts and the contact surface between wheel and hub.

● Lift on the wheel and fit the wheel center on the hub shoulder.

● Tighten the nuts until the wheel makes good contact with the flange.

● Fill air in space saver spare wheel (242 GT). See also page 69!.

● Lower the car and tighten the nuts alternately to 72-100 ft. lbs. (100-130 Nm).

● Fit the wheel cap.

NOTE: Do not rotate a raised rear wheel if the car is equipped with a limited slip differential. This

will also move the opposite wheel on the ground and the car may slide off the jack.

Fold the wiper arm outward. Press in the shiny lock spring on the wiper arm backside(1). (Or use a

screwdriver to bend up the thin shiny sheet metal tab on the wiper air front side, 1 a). Pull out the wiper
