CAUTION
The transmission’s temperature is monitored
to help prevent damage to the transmission
or other drivetrain components. If there is a
risk of overheating, the warning symbol on the
instrument panel will illuminate and a text
message will be displayed. Follow the instruc-
tions provided there.
Hill Start Assist (HSA)
4
HSA makes it easier to start or back up on a hill
by retaining pressure on the brake pedal for sev-
eral seconds after the pedal has been released in
order to keep the vehicle at a standstill.
The brakes will be released after several seconds
or when the driver presses the accelerator pedal.
