Dear Parent, At VTech® we know that a child’s imagination is a truly wonderful thing and needs to be developed and nurtured. That’s why we created the Winnie the Pooh electronic learning series™ of interactive learning toys to stimulate children’s imaginations, while also teaching vital preschool concepts such as the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors and objects.
INTRODUCTION The VTech® Pooh’s Picture Computer introduces age-appropriate curriculum in a fun and engaging way. The 15 double-sided cards are recognized when placed into the slot and feature different themes for your child to explore. Featuring an alphabetical keyboard and character/ shape/colors buttons, your child will learn letters, numbers, shapes, colors, spelling and more with Pooh and his friends. The convenient card storage compartment keeps the cards safe when not in use.

BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit and open it. 3. Insert 2 new “AA” (UM3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box.
• Install batteries correctly observing the polarity (+, -) signs to avoid leakage. • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbonzinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Remove the batteries from the equipment when the unit will not be used for an extended period of time. • Always remove exhausted batteries from the equipment. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire. • Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries.
2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® Pooh’s Picture Computer will automatically power down after a few minutes without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the ON/OFF BUTTON. To adjust the volume, slide the VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the high volume position or the low volume position . 4. 6. CARD STORAGE All 15 double-sided activity cards can be conveniently stored in the special compartment located on the bottom of the unit. 7. MUSIC BUTTON ACTIVITIES 1. Press the ON/OFF BUTTON to turn the unit on. You will hear an opening short tune followed by a greeting from Winnie the Pooh. If a card is already insterted, you will hear a fun phrase related to that card. The lights will flash with the sounds. Activities Press the MUSIC BUTTON to hear cheerful melodies. 2.
3. Press the NUMBER BUTTONS to answer questions or to hear the number identified if there is no card inserted. The lights will flash with the sounds. 5. Insert a card into the slot to hear a related phrase followed by questions related to the card. Answer the questions correctly to hear a rewarding sound and phrase. After 3 incorrect answers, the answer will be given and a new question will be asked. Activities 4.

Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source. 3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps: 1. Turn the unit OFF. 2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. 3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
