Field Name Description

Wi-Fi Name Identiﬁes the Wireless network name.

Broadcast Wi-Fi Name Click the toggle button if you’d like to broadcast the Wi-Fi

name for your device.

MAC Address Identiﬁes the MAC for your My Passport Wireless Pro/My

Passport Wireless SSD device.

Security Type Select the type of security to apply to the drive’s Wi-Fi

network:

Disabled (no security) is the default

WPA2 Personal

Wi-Fi Channel

Accept the default (Auto) or select a channel from the drop-

down list.
