The analogue input module UR20-8AI-I-PLC-INT can detect
up to 8analogue sensors with 0 ... 20mA or 4 ... 20mA.
The8 sensors are connected via a standard at ribbon cable
connector. The measurement range is dened using param-
eterisation. A single-colour LED for status and diagnosis is
assigned in a separate block for each channel. The module
electronics supply the connected sensors with power from
the 4-pole feed plug (U
IN
). The inputs are protected against
overcurrent by a self-resetting fuse.
For the PLC connection, the following applies: a maximum
current of 2A (with a max. of 1A per contact) can be taken
from the +24V connections or fed through the 0V connec-
tions. In the case of a total current greater than 2 A, the com-
mon ground wire must be connected to the separate 4-pin
plug-in connector.

Supplying power via the at ribbon-cable con-
nector must be ensured, also in case of higher
voltage decline caused by an increased cable
resistance.
