PROBLEM
The workpiece splinters
on the underside.
The workpiece is
slipping from your hand.
Motor will not run.

PROBABLE
CAUSE
1. No backup material under the
workpiece.

properly.

3. Open circuit, loose connections,
or burned out motor.
4. Blown fuse or circuit breaker.
5. Low voltage.

REMEDY
Always use a backup material. See
