CLEANING THE GENERATOR
Keep the generator clean to prevent improper operation or machine damage from dirt and debris. Inspect all cool-
ing air openings on the generator. These openings must be kept clean and unobstructed. If the generator becomes
dirty, use a damp cloth to wipe exterior surfaces. Use a soft bristle brush to loosen dirt and oil and use a vacuum to
pick up loose dirt. Only use low pressure air (not to exceed 25 PSI) to blow away dirt.
CAUTION: Never clean the generator when it is running! Never clean with a bucket of water or a hose.
Water can get inside the working parts of the generator and cause corrosion or a short circuit.
