For this reason Werner Co., OSHA, ANSI and most local regulations require that a written rescue plan and the means to implement the rescue plan are in place before use of this equipment. e.
e. Maintenance 1. Periodically clean the housing exterior and lifeline with water and a mild detergent. Rinse and towel and air dry. 2. Store in a clean, dry environment when not in use. 3. No alteration or modification of the device is permitted. Do not attempt to open the device. It contains no user-serviceable parts. If opened or modified the device should be removed from service and returned to Werner Co. for inspection. f.
