Cycle and options (models with one cycle) Cycle control knob Wash cycle Dry Select options double wash for moderate to heavily soiled loads. Select the mark next to WASH with the Cycle Control Knob. The cycle sequence will be: Wash+ Rinse+ Rinse+ Wash+ Rinse-r Rinse+ Rinse+ Dry-+ Off If the HEATED DRYING Option Selector Button is pushed, air in the dishwasher is heated during the “dry” part of the cycle. For best drying results, use a liquid rinse agent.

Push the POTS8t PANS Cycle Selector Button and select the mark next to POTS & PANSwith the Cycle Control Knob. HEAT DRY is automatically selected. Push the POTS& PANS Cycle Selector Button and select the mark next to POTS & PANSwith the Cycle Control Knob. The cycle sequence will be: Wash+Rinse+Rinse+WashRinse+Rinse+ Rinse+Dry+Off Heavy Wash cycle A double wash for heavily soiled loads. Push the HEAVY WASH Cycle Selector Button.

To add a dish after starting (for models with more than one cycle) 1. To be sure the added item is washed and rinsed, make sure the Cycle Control Knob has not passed LIGHT WASH. 2. Lift up on the door latch to unlatch door and stop the cycle. Don’t open the door until the spray arm stops spinning. 3. Open the door and add the dish. 4. Close the door. Do not latch it.

Silverware basket loading Load the silverware basket(s) while in or out of the bottom rack. The loaded basket(s) must be placed in the center front of the bottom rack for proper washing (Style I baskets fit over the spray tower). Someof the load may not be completely washed if the loaded silverware basket(s) are placed in a different location. Personal Injury Hazard To avoid cuts from sharp items (knives, forks, skewers, etc.), make sure these items are put in point down.

To have a reliable hot water supply: Maintain 140°F (60%) water supply at central water heater. To check water temperature, turn on hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher. Let water run until it is as hot as possible, then check with a candy or meat thermometer.

Dishwasher Care And Cleaning Filter screen Personal Injury Hazard Before cleaning interior or filter screen, wait at least 20 minutes after a cycle for the heating element to cool down. Failure to do so can result in burn injuries. The filter system requires periodic cleaning as needed. Exterior Regular use of a soft, damp cloth or sponge and a mild detergent is all that is necessary, in most cases, to keep the outside of your dishwasher nice looking and clean.
