Th e wat er soften er is des ign ed to remove min erals and salts from t he w ater, wh ich woul d ha ve
a de trim enta l o r adverse effect on the ope ration of the app li ance. T he h igher the
content of t hese mineral s an d sa lts, t he harde r your wat er is. The s of te ner s hou ld b e
adju sted acco rding t o the ha rdness of t he wa ter in you r area. Your loca l WaterA uthority
can advise you on the hardness of the water in your area.
Adjusting Salt Consumption
The dishwas her is de sig ned t o al low for a dj ustment in the amo unt of sa lt co nsumed bas ed o n t he ha rdness o f
the water used. This is intended to optimise and customise the level o f salt consumption.
1. Unscrew the cap from the salt container.
2. T here is a r ing o n the contai ne r w ith an a rrow on it (see fig ure
on theside), if necessary, rotate the ring in the anticlockwise
direction fro m th e "-" Setting toward the " +" sign, based o n the
hardne ss o f the w at er being u sed.
It is recomm ended t hat adju stme nts should b e made i n
acco rd ance wit h t he f oll owin g sch eme :
