REMOVAL OF MINERAL
DEPOSITS
Your kettle should be periodically descaled, as
the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale
on the bottom of the kettle and cause a less
efcientoperation.Youcanuseanycommercially
available descaler. Follow the instructions on
the package of the descaler. Alternatively, you
mayfollowtheinstructionsbelowandusewhite
vinegar.
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar,
thenaddwatertotheamountsoastocover
the bottom of the kettle completely. Leave
thesolutioninthekettleovernight.
2. Discardthemixtureinthekettle,llthekettle
with clean water, boil and then discard the
water.Repeatseveraltimesuntilthesmellof
vinegar has been ushedaway.Any stains
remaininginsidethespoutcanberemoved
byrubbingitwithadampcloth.

Your product has the benet of our manufactu-
rer’s Guarantee, which covers the product for
twelvemonthsfromthedateofpurchase.
Thisgivesyouthereassurancethatif,withinthat
time, your product isproven to be defective be-
cause of either workmanship or materials, we will,
at our discretion, either repair or replace the pro-
duct at no cost to you.
ThisGuaranteeissubjecttothefollowingcondi-
tions:
• Documentary proof of original purchase date
isprovided.
• Cosmetic damage must be reported within
14 days from the date of purchase.
• Theproducthasbeeninstalledandoperated

redwithbyanypersonnotauthorisedbyus.
• Anyrepairworkmustbeundertakenbyusor
our appointed agent.
• Anypartsremovedduringrepairworkorany
productthatisreplacedbecomeourproper-
ty.
• The product is used in the United Kingdom
orRepublicofIreland.
TheGuaranteedoesnotcover:
• Damage resulting from transportation, im-
proper use, neglect or interference or as a
result of improper installation.
• Accidentaldamage,thisincludesbutisnot
limited to, damage which occurs as a result
of an external action.
• Replacementofanyconsumableitemorac-
cessory.Theseincludebutarenotlimitedto:
• plugs,cables,lightbulbs,hoses,brushes,
coversandlters.
• Replacementofanyremovablepartsmade
of glass or plastic.
