BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE Your new appliance is a combined ventilated, no frost fridge-freezer exclusively for domestic use. The great advantage of this appliance is that the refrigerator and freezer compartments are ventilated, therefore there is no ice or frost formation on the walls, thanks to the process described below. The cold is produced by an evaporator and distributed to the single compartments by means of a fan.
PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS • Use the refrigerator compartment only for storing fresh food and beverages and use the freezer compartment only for storing frozen food, freezing fresh food and making ice cubes. • After installation, make sure that the refrigerator is not standing on the power supply cable. • Do not store glass containers with liquids in the freezer since they may burst.

USING THE REFRIGERATOR - DUAL CONTROLS HOW TO OPERATE THE CONTROLS Internal temperatures of the freezer and refrigerator compartments may be set individually to better meet food preservation conditions, depending on the extent the product is used. 1.Dynamic Intelligence (button 1): Your product is provided with an exclusive function which, when selected, controls the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer compartments according to the temperature of your kitchen and the usage conditions of the refrigerator (door opening and amount of food stored in the product.) To select it, press the respective key and the light signal will turn on, indicating that the function has been selected.
FREEZER TEMPERATURE CONTROL • The freezer compartment temperature is set by pressing the freezer control key to the level you want. There are five temperature settings for the freezer compartment. Every time you press the key, the temperature will be set from position “Less Cold” (level 1) to position “Coldest” (level 5). Minimum freezing - level 1 Recommended when there is not much food in the freezer and occasional door opening. Medium freezing - level 3 Commended for normal use.
FREEZER TEMPERATURE CONTROL - INTERNAL CONTROLS Freezer temperature: Each time you press the key, you will select a freezing level. Minimum freezing: recommended when there is not much food in the freezer and occasional door opening. Medium freezing: recommended for normal use. Maximum freezing: recommended when there is a lot of food in the freezer and frequent door opening.
STORING FOOD AND BEVERAGES • We recommend that food be stored in adequate packages such as plastic bags or containers with lids. It avoids removal of food natural humidity, preserving quality. • Do not place hot foods inside the refrigerator or freezer. Allow them to cool to room temperature. That helps saving power consumption, and assures the good operation of the product. • Try to leave the doors open only as long as it takes to place and remove food or beverages.
FREEZER SLIDING DRAWER • The freezer compartment of your product is provided with a sliding drawer to facilitate access to food. It also allows for better use and organization of the freezer internal room. CLEVER-ICE WITH FEEDER • Your refrigerator is provided with an ice-making system comprised of a feeder, ice trays with extractor and an ice bin. With this system, it will be easier to fill the trays with water, extract the ice cubes and store them.
EXTRA-COLD COMPARTMENT SLIDING GLASS SHELVES This sliding compartment stays colder than the rest of the refrigerator compartments to keep daily foods fresh longer. It can also chill beverages more quickly. It is proper for keeping dairy products, cold cuts, sausage and meat. Your refrigerator is provided with sliding glass shelves which make it easier for you to access foods stored at the back of the shelves or at lower shelves.
VEGETABLES DRAWER Foods such as fruits and vegetables dehydrate when stored in direct contact with cold and dry air. The vegetables drawer keeps the temperature and humidity adequate for storage of fruits and vegetables, preserving their natural characteristics. The metallic rails of the vegetables drawer provide smooth and safe opening and closing of the drawer. To organize foods to your convenience, use the vegetables separator available in your refrigerator.
FOOD STORAGE CHART Storage time will vary according to the quality of the food, the type of packaging or wrap used (moisture and vapour proof), and the storage temperature (which should be -18°C).
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, unplug the appliance from the mains or disconnect the electrical power supply. Periodically clean the refrigerator and freezer compartments with a sponge dampened in a solution of lukewarm water and special detergent for refrigerator interiors. Rinse and dry. Never use abrasive detergents. Never clean refrigerator parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion. • Clean with a damp cloth.

Remember Motor running time depends on different things: number of door openings, amount of food stored, temperature of the room, setting of the temperature controls. If, after performing the above checks, your appliance still does not work properly, contact the After-sales Service, explain the problem, specifying the model and appliance service number (stated on the data plate).

Remove the fuse cover (A) and fuse (B). 2. Fit replacement 13A fuse into fuse cover. 3. Refit both into plug.
