Roast Beef, Pork Start with fat side down.
After 1 st stage, turn over and shield any warm portions with alumi-
num
foil.
After the 2nd stage, turn over and shield any warm portions wlth
aluminum foil.
Stand, covered 30-60 minutes.
Steaks, Chops,
flsh
After the 1 st stage, turn over and shield any warm portions with
aluminum foil.
After the 2nd stage, shield any warm portions with aluminum foil.
Remove any pieces that are nearly defrosted.
Stand, 1 O-20 minutes.
Ground Meat
Remove any thawed parts after each stage.
Stand, 5-10 minutes.
Chicken, Whole
Remove giblets before freezing poultry for more uniform defrosting.
Start with breast side down.
After the 1 st stage, turn over and shield any warm portions with
aluminum foil.
After the 2nd stage, shield any warm portions with aluminum foil.
Stand, covered 30-60 minutes.
Chicken Pieces
After the 1 st stage, turn over and rearrange.
