COMPONENT ACCESS
Removing the Drain Pump
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Remove the Drain Pump
1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2. Open the dishwasher door and take out cutlery basket
and lower rack.
3. Remove dishwasher from installaon and lay dishwasher
on its back.
4. Remove the one (1) screw that aaches base cover to the
base. Remove base cover and set aside.

6. Disconnect wire harness from drain pump.
5. Grasp drain pump and rotate 1/4 turn counterclockwise to
remove (which the opposite direcon of the mark on the
sump). See Figure 2.

NOTE: Ensure the “0”Ring is retained in the drain pump before
reassembly.
