COMPONENT ACCESS
Removing the Heating Element
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Remove the Heang Element
1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2. Open the dishwasher door and take out cutlery basket
and lower rack.
3. Remove dishwasher from installaon and lay dishwasher
on its back.
4. Remove the one (1) screw that aaches base cover to the
base. Remove base cover and set aside.
5. Disconnect the two (2) pink wires from the heang
element terminals (see Figure 1).

6. Remove the nuts and washers that aach the heang
element to the boom of the tub (see Figure 2).
NOTE: Sump is removed to show locaon of heater
terminals, nuts and washers.

7. From the inside of the tub, li the backside of the element
and release it from the 2 retainers. See Figure 3.
