Important safety information
Read these pages carefully before you begin using your hearing aids, refill
unit and cartridge.
Hearing aids can be dangerous if swallowed or used improperly. Swal-
lowing or improper use can result in severe injury or even fatalities. In
case of ingestion, contact a doctor immediately and call the 24 Hour
National Button Battery Ingestion Hotline at (202) 625-3333.
Keep hearing aids, their parts, accessories and batteries away from chil-
dren, mentally disabled people and pets.
The cartridge contains a methanol solution which is flammable and tox-
ic and can cause irritation to your skin, eyes and respiratory system.
If your skin is exposed to the methanol solution, rinse it off immediately
with plenty of water.
If your eyes are exposed to the methanol solution, rinse it off immedi-
ately with plenty of water. Seek medical attention immediately.
In case of ingestion of the methanol solution, rinse your mouth with wa-
ter immediately and try to induce vomiting. Seek medical attention im-
mediately.
Take your hearing aids out when you are not using them. This will help to
ventilate the ear canal and prevent ear infections.
Contact your doctor or hearing care professional immediately if you sus-
pect you may have an ear infection or an allergic reaction.
