Guarantee

Dear Customer,

Congratulations on purchasing a WOFI lamp. You have purchased a product that has been

produced according to the best available technology of the day. Our products are subject to

stringent quality inspection. Please observe our written guarantee if, contrary to expectations,

this product should prove not to be ﬂ awless. WOFI offers a free-of-charge, 5 year guarantee

on all lamps purchased by a consumer after 1 January 2013. This applies to all WOFI

trademark products, not for ACTION products. For products in the ACTION range the implied

warranty of 24 months applies.

WOFI manufacturer guarantee for lamps

Written guarantee:

WOFI LEUCHTEN Wortmann & Filz GmbH, Im Langel 6, 59872 Meschede-Freienohl grants

consumers a guarantee of durability under the following conditions and to the extent described

below alongside and in addition to the seller’s liability for defects.

As manufacturer WOFI provides a temporary guarantee for the ﬂ awless functional efﬁ ciency of

WOFI lamps that are used correctly.

A “consumer” in the sense of this manufacturer guarantee is any natural person who is the owner

of the WOFI product and who did not acquire it for resale or to install it on third party premises

within the framework of his commercial or freelance professional activity. A ﬁ rst end consumer is

the “consumer” who was the ﬁ rst person to acquire the product from WOFI, a dealer or another

natural person or legal entity, who resells or installs the WOFI product within the framework of his

commercial or freelance professional activity.

Requirement for the manufacturer guarantee:

The written guarantee requires that the consumer accepts this written guarantee in writing vis-a-

vis WOFI-Leuchten.

This is done

a) by registration on the WOFI home page, available at woﬁ .de and

b) by presenting the original receipt for the purchase of the WOFI products covered by the

promise of guarantee and

c) by presenting the WOFI product and proof that a defect has cropped up in the

functional efﬁ ciency within the guarantee period. In particular this proof can be

provided by presenting the sales receipt.

Guarantee cover:

Valid for WOFI products that the ﬁ rst end consumers acquired as from 01.01.2013 (the date on

the sales receipt is decisive).

WOFI provides a guarantee to consumers that WOFI lamps are free from material defects,

manufacturing faults and construction faults. The state of scientiﬁ c and technical knowledge at

the time of manufacture is decisive. The product must already have featured the fault that caused

the damage at that point in time.

In particular the guarantee covers proper functioning of the lamp, functional efﬁ ciency of

electronic components and cables and that basic materials and their surfaces are free from

defects, in particular plastic, glass and metal.
