9. In the Available queues list box, select the server and queue name that correspond to
the printer.
10. Click the Connect button and then click the Close button.
The Connect dialog box is displayed with the network path to the printer.
11. Click OK in the Connect dialog box.
The Printers window appears again, with the selected port next to the highlighted
printer name in the Installed Printers list box.
12. Click Close in the Printers dialog box.
You or your network administrator should verify the network connection by printing a
test document from each networked computer that will use the printer.
If you use PageMaker, continue to “Copying the PPD for Adobe PageMaker” on
page 49 for information on specific file locations on your computer.
Setting up printing with Windows 95
You can print to the printer from your Windows 95 workstation in several ways. First,
you need to install the Adobe PostScript Printer Driver for Windows (included with
the user software) and the printer description file (PPD) on your computer.
Next, you set up the printer to accept your print jobs via one of the following
connections:
Parallel port
IPX (Novell) network
Windows printing
