Portable hotspot
Enable Portable hotspot
1. Go to Settings > Connection & sharing > Portable hotspot.
2. Tap to enable Portable hotspot.
Tip
• You can tap Share QR code to share Wi-Fi network.
• You can swipe down from the upper-right corner of the tablet to enable Hotspot
on the Control center.
Turn o hotspot automatically
Turn o hotspot automatically helps save mobile data when you do not use
the feature.
1. Go to
Settings > Connection & sharing > Portable hotspot.
2. Tap to enable Turn o hotspot automatically.
Set up portable hotspot
1. Go to Settings > Connection & sharing > Portable hotspot.
2. Tap Set up portable hotspot to change the SSID or password.
3. Tap .

Enable Cast
You can enable Cast to project the items from your tablet screen on a bigger
external monitor.

Note
You need to turn o Portable hotspot before you enable Cast.
1. Go to
Settings > Connection & sharing > Cast.
2. Tap
to enable Cast.
3. Select an available device to start casting.
Tip
• You can go to Settings > Connection & sharing > Cast > Help to learn casting
information.
