Upgrading From XCP 1041 or Lower
To Prepare to Upgrade
1. Delete any routes configured on the lan#0 and lan#1 interfaces (failover
interfaces).
Note The applynetwork -n command will not run unless some network
configuration has changed. Reseting the host name (sethostname) to exactly what
it is will prompt the command to run.
The following example shows two routes that must be deleted.

The maximum length of the user name is 31 characters.
The adduser(8) man page erroneously documents a
maximum user name length of 32 characters.

sendbreak(8)
man page
The sendbreak(8) command will not work when the
domain mode is set to on while the mode switch on the
operator panel is set to locked. Refer to the
setdomainmode(8) man page for more information.
