Theaugercontrolis locatedonthe left handle.Squeeze
thecontrolgripagainstthe handleto engagethe augers
andstart snowthrowingaction. Releaseto stop.
Drive Control/Auger Control Lock

Thedrivecontrolis locatedonthe right handle.Squeeze
thecontrolgripagainstthe handleto engagethe wheel
drive.Releaseto stop.
Thedrivecontrolalsolocksthe augercontrolsoyou can
operatethe chutedirectionalcontrolwithoutinterrupting
the snowthrowingprocess.If the augercontrolisen-
gagedsimultaneouslywiththe drivecontrol,theoperator
can releasethe augercontrol(onthe lefthandle)and
theaugerswill remainengaged.Releasebothcontrolsto
stoptheaugersandwheeldrive.
IMPORTANT:Alwaysreleasethe drivecontrolbefore
changingspeeds.

Thechutedirectionalcontrolis locatedon the leftside of
thedash panel.
Tochangethe directioninwhichsnowis thrown,
squeezethe buttononthejoy-stickandpivotthe
joy-stickto the rightorto the left.
Tochangethe angle/distancewhichsnowisthrown,
pivotthejoy-stickforwardor backward.
Wheel Steering Controls
The leftand rightwheelsteeringcontrolsare locatedon
the undersideof the handles.Squeezetherightcontrolto
turn right;squeezethe leftcontrolto turnleft.
NOTE:Operatethe snowthrowerin openareas untilyou
arefamiliarwiththesecontrols.
Ignition Key
The ignitionkeymustbe insertedandsnappedin place
inorderforthe engineto start. Removethe ignitionkeyto
preventunauthorizeduseof equipment.Do NOTattempt
to turn the key.
Clean-Out Tool
WARNING:Neveruseyourhandsto
clearacloggedchuteassembly.Shut
offengineandremainbehindhandles
untilall movingpartshavestopped
beforeunclogging.
Releaseboththe augercontroland thedrive/auger
controllock.

2. Stopthe engineby movingthe throttletothe stop
position.
3. Removethe clean-outtoolfromthe mountingclip.
4. Usethe shovel-shapedendof the clean-outtoolto
removeanysnowandice inthe chuteassembly.
5. Re-fastenthe clean-outtoolto themountingclip on
the rearof the augerhousingand restartengine.
6. Whilestandingin theoperator'sposition(behindthe
snowthrower),engagethe augercontrolfora few
secondsto clearany remainingsnowor ice fromthe
chuteassemblybeforecontinuingto clearsnow.
Heated Handles Switch (If Equipped)
Thisswitchis locatedon the rightside of the snow
throwerdashpanel.Toactivatethe heatedhandles,
togglethe switchto the rightto generateheatwithinthe
handlegrips.Togglethe switchto the leftto the OFF
positionafterusingthe snowthrower.
NOTE:The heatedhandlesgrips area complimentto,
nota substitutefor,propercold weatherouterwearfor
the operator'shands.It is recommendedthatthe snow
throweroperatorweargloves/mittensto avoidextremities
of winterwhile operatingthis equipment.

The operation of
any snowthrower
can result in foreign
objects beingthrown
intothe eyes, which
can damage your
eyesseverely.Always
wear safety glasses
while operatingthe
snowthrower,or while
performing any adjust-
ments or repairson it.

in enclosed, poorly
ventilatedareas. En-
gine exhaustcontains
carbon monoxide,an
odorless and deadly
gas. Keep hands,feet,
hairand loose clothing
awayfrom any moving
parts onengine and
snowthrower.
