Operation Example Chapter 4-2
4-2-5 No-load Operation
Start the no-load motor (i.e., not connected to the mechanical system)
using the Digital Operator.
Note Before operating the Digital Operator, check that the FREQ adjuster is set to
MIN.
Forward/Reverse Rotation with the Digital Operator
After changing the frequency reference or the rotation direction, check
that there is no vibration or abnormal sound from the motor.
Check that no faults have occurred in the Inverter during operation.
Stopping the Motor
On completion of operating the motor in the no-load state in the forward or
reverse direction, press the STOP/RESET Key. The motor will stop.

Explanation
Press the Mode Key to turn on the
FREF indicator.
Monitors the frequency reference.
Press the RUN Key. The RUN
Indicator will be lit.
Turn the FREQ adjuster clockwise
slowly.
The monitored frequency reference
will be displayed.
The motor will start rotating in the
forward direction according to the
frequency reference.
Press the MODE Key to turn
on the F/R indicator. “For” will be
displayed.
Use the Increment or Decrement
Key to change the direction of motor
rotation. The direction of motor
rotation selected will be enabled
when the display is changed after
the Key is pressed.
