PL Reverse Burst
PL Reverse Burst causes a Private Line (PL)
code to be sent at the end of a transmission
once the PTT button is released. This sub-
audible tone causes the receiving radio to mute
its speaker before loss of a carrier is detected.
Muting the speaker eliminates unwanted noise
(squelch tail) during loss of carrier detection.
Choices available are: 180/240.
Alternate Battery Selection
The radio is capable of supporting multiple
batteries solutions; therefore, the user can
configure a battery type when using the
accessory battery pack tray, only when the
radio does not detect a valid battery type on its
own. Choices available are: Alkaline, Nickel,
and Lithium Ion.
