This guide
applies
to specific remote
controls
from DirecTV, Dish, Verizon
FIOS, Comcast and AT&T that have an
AUX
or
AUDIO
button.
If
you have a
remote
control
with just two device buttons (TV and
Set
Top Box), you should
"teach" your Sound Base to respond to your remote
control
as described in
the instruction sheet titled
Your
Current
TV
Remote Can
Control
Your
SoundBase
System
.
Please
confirm that your remote has the same device
keys as shown in the image on the
relevant page
of
these instruction
s.
These
instructions address the
following
situtations:
1)
Your
remote control
does not adjust the SoundBase
volume
after
follow-
ing th.e instructions in the guide
titled
Your
Current
TV Remote Can
Control
Your
SoundBase
System.
2) Your
TV has no
"internal speakers off' feature and the poor sound from
your
TV
interferes with the Sound Base audio.
3)
Your
TV
displays an intrusive '
TV
Speakers
Off'
message after teaching
the SoundBase to respond to your preferred remote
control
and turning off
the
internal
TV
speakers.
Two Device
Remote
control
There
are
TV
and
STB
buttons,
but
no
AUDIO
or
AUX
button.
Remote
control
with
AUX
Button
Besides
the
TV
and
STB
buttons,
this
remote has an
AUX
button.
