The flat base head features fixed pan and tilt drag and fits on top of the tripod legs with a leveling base that has integrated fluid drag adjustments. The system has a height range of 9.09 to 61.85" and supports up to 22 pounds of camera and camera rig. This combination allows you to quickly compensate for uneven surfaces using the tripod legs leveling base. The system features a total of 3 bubble levels, and the flat base of the AirHed allows the fluid head to sit lower than if it were a bowl base fluid head when mounted on other platforms such as sliders and car mounts.
