The 1/10 scale axial ® SCX10 ™ III Jeep ® JLU Wrangler 4WD - Kit marks the next step forward in off-road action. The SCX10 ™ III still contains important components that have made SCX10 ™ vehicles successful, but it increases chassis realism with details that include a V8 replica motor for the 540 front-mounted engine. It is connected to a realistic transmission housing and transfer case such as a 1:1 vehicle. The kit's versatile transmission can be built in a variety of ways. If you are using a 3-channel radio, such as the spectrum ™ DX3 ™ , you can use a third-channel DIG function to lock the rear axle of the front wheel drive transmitter and a narrower turning radius. Another 3-channel option is to set up the vehicle with a two-speed transmission to choose between high and low speeds. To access the two-speed transmission and the DIG function at the same time, simply add another servo and use a radio with at least four channels (e.g. the 5-channel spectrum ™ DX5).
