You'll only be able to retain your steering wheel audio controls with a compatible car stereo made by Alpine, Boss, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony or Soundstream . No other brands are currently compatible. The Crux CS-GM29 interface allows you to install an aftermarket radio in select 2006-up General Motors vehicles while retaining your warning chimes. The interface works in GM vehicles with or without a factory amplifier. If you're installing a Alpine, Boss, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony or Soundstream car stereo, you'll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls. If you're installing a car stereo with a video screen and a camera input, you'll retain the use of your vehicle's backup cam.
