CRUX Wiring Interface

You'll only be able to retain your steering wheel audio controls with a compatible car stereo made by Alpine, Boss, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony or Soundstream . No other brands are currently compatible. The Crux CS-GMC2 interface allows you to install an aftermarket radio in select 2000-2013 General Motors vehicles while retaining your warning chimes. The interface works in GM vehicles with or without a factory amplifier. If you're installing a compatible Alpine, Boss, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony or Soundstream car stereo, you'll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls. Many General Motors vehicles don't have a 12-volt accessory wire in their wiring harness, but this interface supplies that wire.
