CRUX Wiring Interface

You'll only be able to retain your steering wheel audio controls with a compatible car stereo made by Alpine, Boss, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony or Soundstream . No other brands are currently compatible. Crux's SWRFD-60L interface ensures that you can keep the factory steering wheel controls in select 2003-up Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models when installing a compatible aftermarket radio. Connect this interface to the wires on your new stereo's wiring harness, and you've covered the power, ground, and factory speaker connections for your new stereo. The interface retains the auxiliary input in your vehicle if you're installing a radio with a rear aux input. It'll also retain your Ford-installed subwoofer. Important Note: This adapter does not retain SYNC and it will not work in vehicles with Sony or THX audio systems.
