The light has a continuously adjustable bi-color temperature range from 3000k to 5600K, with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 98.3/99, an indicator of precise color rendering. The SSL-836B features an all-digital dimmer for single digit adjustment control throughout the dimming range from 100% all the way down to 0%. Other dimmers without this functionality can exhibit abrupt falloff below 10%, greatly limiting their dynamic range. The SSL-836B runs barely warm to the touch, allowing you to work close to the subject without causing discomfort or hot light hazards.
