Certified to NSF/ANSI 58, the RCC7AK water filter is a multi-layered reverse osmosis system under sink that provides optimal protection against over 1,000 different types of contaminants, removing up to 99% of rust, sediment, taste, arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, hormones, fluoride, lead (up to 98%), mercury, sodium, and more. Featuring some of the longest-lasting filters in the industry, the reverse osmosis water filtration system consists of 6 stages water filters, each one designed to progressively remove contaminants and improve water quality. After flowing through the initial 5 stages of the iSpring RCC7 line of reverse osmosis filtering products, the RCC7AK RO system adds another alkaline remineralization (AK) stage. This stage is designed to restore the natural alkalinity and mineral balance of the water. The RO membrane effectively generates pure water but also removes a few helpful minerals.
