Novation presents Peak, a desktop polyphonic synthesizer to eight voices with three Oxford oscillators supplied by latest generation for each item. The three New Oxford Oscillators have a sound output equal to that of analog oscillators as they are NCO oscillators (Numerically-Controlled Oscillators) at very high resolution and have all the flexibility of the digital domain with ben 17 wavetable. In addition they can also become one FM linear source using the "analogue-sounding" NCO or digital wavetables. The synth has an analog filter multi-mode resonant and three points of distortion for each voice - pre-filter, post-filter and global - in a signal chain completely analogue. Peak is also able to receive the polyphonic aftertouch, comes with an arpeggiator ed effects like reverb, delay and chorus. The system of modulation provides a 16-slot matrix and 16 assignments direct for the main controls, designed for one programming of patches and sound modifications very much intuitive.
