The HDX1 mic and its companion RDX1 receiver have a wireless line of sight range of up to 100 feet. And the mic can operate for up to 20 hours with two “AA” batteries (available separately). The compact RDX1 receiver has a USB connector. Plug it into your laptop or tablet, and you can start recording. The RDX1 is compatible with virtually all digital audio workstation software using either Mac® or Windows® operating systems. Included is a desk stand – handy for podcasting and voiceover recording. You can also plug the RDX1 receiver into a compatible Samson portable speaker, such as the Expedition XP106w .
