The 60375 STEELMAN 9-Piece Split Die Wheel Stud Repair and Re-threading Kit is designed to remove the worry of cross threading by allowing repairs to begin behind damaged threads. By starting the repair on undamaged threads you can ensure a continuous repair that is perfectly aligned with the original threads. Made of hardened high carbon and chromium steel, these dies feature dual indexing pins that ensure correct tooth alignment and hold the tool straight and secure during use. To drive the dies, this kit includes 2 chrome-moly steel 1/2-inch drive deep impact sockets in 1-inch and 1-3/8-inch size so you can easily use the thread chasers with your favorite ratchet or with a standard 'T' handle (not included).
